This place, situated on the outskirts of Ahmedabad city, has a village-like, eco-friendly eating area that adds glory to its authentic Gujarati food. The atmosphere here, at Vishalla, is very quiet just an ideal place to have your food, far away from the hustle and bustle of urban life. The place has different divisions inside: there are separate counters for Gujarati snacks, ice creams and entertainment, all of which makes this place likeable by people of all age groups. The food is basically traditional with dishes like Dhokla, Dal, Kadhi, Khichdi, choice of subzis and so on. Accompaniments that you can think of, like Chaas, papads, and pickles, enhance the taste, making the meal a really delicious one are all here. You can either choose the fixed menu here or go for the la carte menu. Theres also a museum inside the premises of Vishalla from where you can buy knick-knacks made by the craftsmen of Gujarat.

on my visit to India, i have been to many places and this was one of them...great place, good food and well-mannered service....this was the Gujarati restaurant where i had Dhokla and Chaas...food was delicious, soft and good to have...no spices at all and served nicely too....

In Vishalla food is served in a calm, open and spacious village like environment that totally changes the eating experience. The food is typical Gujarati Thali containing Dal, Kadhi, different choices of subzis, and dhokla and other such Gujarati dish.
Vishalla is a pleasurable restaurant to spend quality time with family.
