Named after the exquisite shawls that adorn its walls, this opulent restaurant has the best of North and South Indian food and is a favourite among corporate clients. One can choose to sit in the outdoor section surrounded by the well-manicured gardens for a visual delight. An open kitchen lets you take a peek into the making of their delicious Lobster Neeruli, Alleppy fish curry, Gosth Nalli ka Saalan, Kashmiri Kanguch (flavourful Morel Mushrooms), Appams or Tandoori Rotis and Naans.

Last week one of my friends turned 25 and we had great birthday bash at Jamavar, which is located in the Leela Palace Hotel. The ambiance was astonishing, I just loved it and certainly for me interiors should be good when I am having my bite there. We settled down and ordered Lobster Neeruli, Gosth Nalli ka Saalan, Alleppy fish curry and Kashmiri Kanguch. We all have one thing in common, Non-Veg. We find the food great and service good too. I would love to visit the place again. Jamavar is for sure my birthday venue too.
