Enter Geoffrey's at the Royal Orchid and you are immediately transported to an English pub of the 50s and 60s. The music is retro and the ambience is perfect for the mood of the place. Order from an extensive wine list and a collection of malts or ask the bartender to make you one of their signature cocktails. Except for a few dishes like the Kebab Platter and the Moi Chui Chicken, it sticks to offering typically English fare. Among them are Shepherd's Pie, Geoffrey's Combo, Ye Olde Fish n Chips, Westminster Chicken, Chocolate-Jameson and Pecan-Pie. This pub has many regulars who visit this place quite frequently.

A nice spot for a cozy tete-a-tete in the heart of Koramangala.

Décor:A set of stairs leads you to this well designed Lounge bar. As you land on the second floor there are two bar stations on either side and a glass enclosed area for those wanting to have a quieter evening. Wooden slat chairs, potted plants and exposed granite tiles form the ambience here. There is another level upstairs with more comfortable seating.

Food:Rosemary Malai Kababs and Lemon Grass Hari march Tikkas are available in Paneer and Chicken versions @ Rs. 170 to 190. The well-made Mezze platter with Pita bread, Hummus, Tzatziki and Baba Ghanouj is a pleasant surprise here @ Rs.225, add another Rs.75 if you want some Indian style Mutton Tikkas with it. Wok tossed Vegetables, Chicken and Prawns with Garlic and a hint of Wasabi are priced at Rs. 160 to Rs. 225. You might find it difficult to detect the Wasabi. Also featured on the menu are Pastas and Thai curries. Another section of the menu features Burgers and Submarine sandwiches.nnServicenThe well-meaning staff tries their best to be pleasant but are not fully familiar with the menu.

Plus and Minus:Over The Top is a pleasant place to relax in the evening with a few drinks, it's not a gourmet destination though.

Must Try:Mezze platter without the Mutton Tikkas.
