Sree Nandhana Palace in Domlur is part of a group of six eating establishments by the same company, spread over the city. The restaurant is pleasantly air conditioned with subdued interiors done in warm colours. The staff dressed in off white kurtas and Indian pugrees move quickly to set the tables for arriving guests. Dakshini has an excellent Andhra thali, Chicken Ghee Roast and Natu Kodi Charu. The restaurant serves vegetarian thalis over banana leaves with cool efficiency during lunch hours and has a spread of non-vegetarian entrees cooked with distinct South Indian spicing, ranging in heat and pungency. When in Rome do as the Romans do. Stick to fresh steaming rice with a pouring of ghee and gunpowder spice.
