Dakshin celebrates the diverse cuisines from the four southern states of Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu and Kerala in an ambience inspired by the temples of South India. Tables are pre-set with silver thalis, katories and brass tableware and dishes are served from traditional vessels like the 'Urli' and the 'Adduku'. Live Carnatic music sets the tone for your pleasure. The all-time favourites are Kai Stew, Kai Kari Mandi, Tomato Pappu, Chapa Pulusu, Kori Gassi, Venchina Mamsam, Yetti Masala and Elaneer Payasam (a wonderful dessert of tender coconut bits cooked in reduced, cardamom-flavoured coconut milk). One of the many USP's of Dakshin includes the Iyer's Trolley, which is wheeled to your table and serves freshly made small Adais, Banana-flavoured Dosais and Kunni Paniyarams. To get the complete experience you may want to order the thali.

A superb dinning place. Have a excellent menu that has four states menu in it. Vegetarians need not worry for there is plenty to nibble on. And when it's all over, a strong filter coffee is what one should have.
