37, China Town is, as you might guess, the Chinese restaurant at the 37th Crescent Hotel. It's a pleasant enough space with some Oriental flourishes and a touch of kitsch as well. It used to be a showcase for the comforting food of Chef Andrew (from the Mandarin at the Ashok). It wasn't classical, more like '80s-style Chinese with Sweet Corn Chicken Soup and Golden Fried Prawns. But lots of people loved the stuff. There have been changes in the kitchen team of late and 37, China Town is not a top-of-the mind Chinese place anymore. But if you happen to eat here, try the Jade Soup and the Sliced Roast Pork. And round it all off with Honey Noodles.

Last week was my friend’s birthday and he wanted to take all of us at some good but reasonable place. I suggest him Anand Restaurant, which actually was recommended by another friend of mine. We went there and find the place quite nice. Simple yet elegant ambiance was looking amazing. Food was awesome. We had many things but the most I liked were Golden Fried Prawns and the Sliced Roast Pork. Last on the table was Honey Noodles. Each and everything was delicious and mouth-watering.
