The Island Bar is a resto bar has a lovely resort like open air feel to it. Pinewood, bamboo and stone form the design elements with a long white bar on one side. The indoor section in the main building is more formal and meant for serious diners. A DJ station streams out what the crowd likes. The Steak came elegantly plated with mushroom, mashed potatoes, sauce and sauteed onion. It was well done and compliments to the chef for getting that right. The House Chef's Salad features all the exotics - chokes, asparagus, capers and sun dried tomatoes. We recommend the Thai curries (vegetarian/seafood/chicken/prawns) made with freshly extracted coconut milk and served with rice and crackers. The Char Grilled Lamb with rosemary is an interesting combination of Indian spices and a western herb. Thin crust pizzas are quite popular with some interesting variations. This is a popular eat out destination. Reservations are strongly recommended.

The Island is good but the behavior of the manager is worst. Suggest you guys in bangalore to avoid this place or suggest the owner of this place to remove the manager as soon as possible.

Out of no choice me and my friends decided to give The Island a visit. The retro music seemed fine but definitely regular dose will be harmful for the mood.
The place needs some maintenance of the interior as well as some changes on the menu. For the time being beer with Chicken Tikka is the best combination available .

I liked the ambience here, which makes one feel as though u are in Goa. But, I did not find the sea food as remarkable here. You can go for starters though! They are quite good.
