This is a charming, rooftop space at the Max Mueller Bhavan on CMH Road. It aims for a casual feel with cane seating and lots of plants around. The food has a strong German tilt and there are good breads and cured meats, like Bratwurst, here. At lunch time, you can choose from a wide spread of salads like the Chicken Salad and Marinated Mushrooms. They also serve some well-done pasta and sandwiches. Try also the Carrot Cake and Apple Strudel, baked fresh every single day. If you are in the area and need some refreshment, Cafe Max is a good place to stop for a Ham Sandwich and a well-brewed cup of coffee.

At the rooftop of Max Mueller Bhavan Café Max is a great set up for good and meaningful conversation with a dear one. In the food department German is the theme and I really like the Chicken Salad and Carrot Cake of this very relaxing place.

Café Max is the roof top café of Max Mueller Bhavan with a very relaxed and peaceful ambience. The cane seating is bodily comforting and the food is light yet filling. Salads, fresh Breads, pastas are some of the dishes on the menu that I usually eat here. In salad, Chicken Salad is my favorite that they serve in large portion or a Ham Sandwich is good to go with. Café Max also has nice desserts that are baked every day and literary melts on the mouth.
