Decor

Plain diner like ambience. There is the occasional Steam and Hiss as the staff brings out a sizzling hot platter. Yep, they do it with smoke and mirrors.

Food

Part of the chain that originally started off at Mumbai, Kobe Sizzlers has a huge own Fan following. This is one place where you are guaranteed high quality cuts of meat even though timing the 'doneness' can be a challenge, as the cooking continues on the hot plate. Kobe's chefs seem to have got that part reasonably right, our Lamb Shaslik and Spicy Chicken sizzlers were spot on perfect. They were served on a bed of cabbage leaves which were engaged in a Maillard reaction with the hot surface, producing an enticing aroma. We also ordered a Honshu Chicken, boiled in white sauce and served on a bed of Rice. After all how plain can that get. We were pleasantly surprised for it turned out to be simply delicious and the addition of adash of chillies in vinegar elevated the dish to greater heights. The Austrian origin Wiener Schnitzel also features on the menu. Desserts include the ever popular Sizzling brownie and Apple Pie.

Service

A rigorous SOP(Standard operating procedure) ensures that your order is processed in defined stages of time and temperature to ensure yourspecification, especially for the Steaks. Credit must be given to the attentive stewards and the Kitchen staff too. A heavy duty exhaust system does the required job of ventilating the fumes.

Plus and minus

Sizzlers are great, meat quality is amongst the best in Bangalore. The burger patties have a huge scope for improvement.
