Don’t expect a great setting, stylish service or classic cooking here. Wangs is your average neighbourhood eatery, which serves up Indo-Chinese food to suit the local palate. More a convenience than a dining destination, it’s frequently used as a takeaway spot by residents in the surrounding areas. On Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays the restaurant is open from noon to midnight. The dishes to order here are all the usual desi-Chinese dishes like Momos, Singapore Noodles and the Sweetcorn Chicken Soup. Regulars say the Crispy Honey Chicken is probably the best thing on the menu. But be wary, for the food all comes with lashings of MSG.
