Chung's is one of Jayanagar's few Chinese restaurants; the other places where you get Gobi Manchurian and Haka Noodles are multi-cuisine. This one has the flaming red decor that Chinese restaurants from an earlier time had a fancy for. In any case, it's not the ambience that's the crowd-puller here, but the large portions and the reasonable pricing. Never mind that much of the food suffers from an MSG overdose. The menu encompasses all the Chinese restaurant staples from Chicken Sweet Corn Soup to American Chopsuey and Fish Chilli. Chung's is for times when you want a Chinese-style meal that won't make a big dent in your wallet. They have many outlets in Bangalore.
