Mainland China is a success everywhere. And the more recent Indiranagar branch is no exception. The setting is stylish with contemporary touches, rather than Oriental flourishes. But large crowds at most times mean this is a bustling family restaurant, rather than one for a quiet or romantic meal. Most-ordered dishes here include the Crispy Corn and Crackling Spinach for appetizers and dimsums like the Harkao of Prawn and the very popular Crabmeat Soup. Main course favourites are the Four Treasure Vegetables and Steamed Grouper, plus the usual Szechwan Chicken and Crispy Lamb. Pop Chinese it is here and no one seems to complain. They also have a lunch buffet.
