It's not called Gufha for nothing. For what they've created at this restaurant at the President Hotel in Jayanagar, is a cave wrought from fibreglass, all dark nooks and twists with hanging insects and bird sounds. Nice, if you like highly themed restaurants, not if you merely want a comfortable, well-lit space to dine in. The menu says North Indian and Afghan, but forget the latter. The North Indian includes some fancily presented kebabs; in fact, over-the-top is the predominant style here. For the rest, it's pretty predictable curries, quite rich and creamy, rotis and some biryani. Menu includes Ruswali Kabab, Pahadhi Kabab, Moshawa Soup, Arbi Chatpata Masala and a lot more

The natural cave like interior of Gufha restaurant makes it one of its kind restaurants in the city. With various articles and background sound affects the creepy ambience has been created inside this restaurant and that is why I and my friends love coming here. The Afghani food is simply relishing and also the kebabs are unbeatable. Arbi Chatpata Masala is another not-so-common dish on the menu. Gufha is very well maintained cave that has stored some of the best tastes in the city.

It's a theme restaurant with a spooky feeling ..the kids loved it here and the food is equally good.I loved the Dal makhni and Butter chicken.Worth trying..
