As you would have guessed The Great Indian Thali, is a unique Thali restaurant serving fine home style North Indian cuisine. The restaurant is done up in modern interiors with light green and beige pastel colours. Punjabi food may conjure up thoughts of heavy oil-laden dishes, but at TGIT, as it is popularly called, the food has minimal spicing and oil. TGIT offers unlimited thali priced at Rs. 375 on weekdays and Rs. 435 on weekends. The meal includes a few starters with a choice of chutneys, Dal Makhni, four sabzis and a paneer preparation. The latter is sourced from Delhi and made in various styles. Fresh breads like phulkas and tawa parathas are replenished promptly and will remind you of shahi mehman nawazi. A choice from a range of desserts like Shrikhand, Jalebi, Aam Ras Malai is a great way to end your meal. You can also opt for the all-day chaat counter, which serves all time favourites like Pani Puri, Dahi Bhalla, Aloo Tikki, Raj Kachori and Papdi Chaat. The food is much lighter, so don't go expecting your regular Punjabi restaurant fare.

I can not forget that day when I visited such a fantastic place with my friend. It offers amazing range of north-indian delicacies. I liked kebabs very much, well cooked and beautifully served. I want to go this restaurant again. Prices are little high but one will not consider it when one will have delicious food. Undoubtedly ambiance is good and i liked the decor as well.

This place deserves a visit again and again. The cuisines offered here ranges from matar potli to dal makhani and methi poori. There are many other options available but these are the one that I gave a try and liked them all. Moreover, the gulabjamun they serve is awesome and I was very glad to visit this place. Felt like my complete investment is utilized to fullest.
