Located near the busiest signal at Koramangala, this newly opened restaurant is already drawing huge crowds especially on weekends. After all, it is Punjab Grill by 'Jiggs Kalra', the renowned food expert. Specializing in cuisine from the regions of the erstwhile Royal State of Punjab, this restaurant relies on the use of four styles of cooking - Tandoor, Sighri, Tawa and Kadhai. We liked the Tandoori Gucchi with it's earthy aroma and meat-like flavour. One doesn't easily come across the rare and expensive mushroom (morel) from Kashmir you can find here. Chaamp Tajdar (mutton chops braised and grilled) were excellent! For the main course we had some delicious Pindi Chana and Rarha Meat served with some well done rotis and parathas. The menu also featured some dishes with a twist like Salmon Tikka, Tandoori Duck and a Chocolate Filled Gulab Jamun. We ordered the latter which turned out to be delicious and satisfying.
