This is your average 24-hour coffee shop in a hotel and holds no surprises either in terms of food or decor. There's a breakfast spread, catering mainly to hotel guests and a predictable multi-cuisine buffet for lunch - including the range from Dal Makhni to Chilli Babycorn and Veg Au Gratin. It's all of unexceptional quality. Therefore, South Parade isn't really a dining destination as such, though they do have the occasional food festival showcasing a particular cuisine-such as Bengali or Rajasthani -as a crowd-puller from time to time. They have one more branch in Residency Road.

South Parade is a 24 hour open coffee shop which is inside a reputed hotel and so coming here any time of the day is safe and sound for me and my roommate. The decoration is subtly nice and nothing larger than life or something. The food is multi cuisine and buffets are lavish in variety and quantity. This café also holds regular food festivals dedicated to various Indian cuisines and then are really nice. From the regular menu Chilli Babycorn is what I love the most at the South Parade.
