With three outlets in bangalore Toscano has emerged as one of the popular names for Italian fine dining. It is indeed very popular with the expatriates of Bangalore. There's an open-air area, which is most sort after in the evenings, and an airconditioned dining hall indoors. The outlet at UB City has a happy buzz about it and you'll frequently have to wait for a table, especially on the weekends. The addition of a wine bar has upped its happening quotient. For lunch, you can choose a three-course meal, say, a salad of rucola, asparagus and pears, followed by Lemon and Thyme-Grilled Fish and Apple Crumble for dessert. It's perfect for a stylish, light lunch. Dinner is a more elaborate affair and you can order superlative duck and seafood creations of Chefs Jean Michel Jasserand and Gowtham.
