Ebony is a much-loved Bangalore landmark. It has a solid reputation as a restaurant that does few things wrong, relying entirely on consistent food quality and a superlative view from its 13th floor location. Which is why little has changed at Ebony in many years. The weekday lunch buffet is very popular among locals. It's advisable to book at dinner time, too. The a la carte menu includes a pleasing selection of tandoori fare - the Tandoori Jhinga being recommended - as also Continental, Thai and other Indian dishes. The Mudaliar Prawn Biryani is lovely. Also good is the Rogan Josh. With its close-to-the-skies setting and pretty good food, Ebony is also a good choice for a romantic night out.
