Bamboo Shoots is now Red Bamboo Shoots and has been given a much-needed makeover. Other things have changed, too - the popular lunch buffet is now served at the table. It's a line-up of two veg or non-veg starters, soup, two veg or non-veg main course items and rice and noodles. Starters like the Szechwan Fried Chicken are utterly palatable, as are the stir-fries. The a la carte menu here offers Chinese and Thai. There are some very palate-pleasing choices like Barbeque Spare Ribs and Chicken in Chilli Oyster Sauce - the latter non-greasy and subtly flavoured. Also, for a tasty change from the usual Hakka Noodles, try the Cantonese Rice Noodles.
