It's on the congested Residency Road, but Casa del Sol, with its Mediterranean-style ambience, still provides an away-from-it-all feeling. It's partly alfresco and at touching distance from the large trees below. When the nightlife was alive and swinging, Casa was frequently a venue for salsa evenings. These are not so frequent now. Still, with its easy and laidback air, this is not a bad place at all to nurse a cocktail or a glass of wine and tuck into some hearty starters like Crostini. The main course items fail to be consistently good, though I've eaten excellent Medallions of Beef and even Grilled Fish here.

In the busy and very congested Residency Road, Casa de Sol is a place that has hold onto its own and has been providing some relief to the regular diners. The ambience is classic Mediterranean style which takes me away from the hustle bustle of Bangalore life. The open air arrangement suites me and my friends very much and so we come here too often. Wine and cocktails are the regular orders that I and my friends like to stick to and with the glass of wine Medallions of Beef is the perfect recipe to go with. A wonder starter of Casa de Sol is Crostini.

Casa del Sol has a beautiful and comfortable ambiance. I pretty like the décor of the place. I like their Medallions of Beef and Grilled Fish, which are excellently prepared. They are really delicious and yummy. Even the service is good and prompt. The most I like is the ambiance of the place. It is very calm and soothing. One can relax here for hours and hours.
