Urban Solace - an old house converted into a multi-cuisine cafe with refreshing decor and paintings by emerging artists. You have different themed rooms here, the menu offers equal options for vegetarians and non vegetarians. This place is also a venue for events like poetry readings and stand up comedy acts. The unpretentious and laid-back ambience invites you to spend a lazy afternoon here occasionally. Urban solace serves mostly European dishes like their ever-popular French style Poulet Champignon and Pasta Suzana served with Pesto Sauce. Wholesome English breakfasts and set lunches are priced at Rs. 150. Wines are quite affordable. Go there to catch up with old friends. The Bangalore Aurobindo Centre is situated just next door.

This place is typically for youngsters and the ambience is an extension of its theme and attitude. This café has been set in an] old building and the economic lunch and Mexican Chicken is what I prefer over anything else as they are not only cheap but also quite delicious. It is a nice place to sit for hours and for endless talks.

Truly a given place for youngsters. I tried starters here with wine as well, the name I don’t remember, but I found it quite inexpensive. You should try it at least once, I am sure you too will love to come back here for yummy snacks.
