And you thought Piranha 3D and Piranha 3DD topped the chart of C-grade Hollywood cinema. Watch Shark Night 3D and you are left guessing what genre this one actually fits into: Not drama, for there is hardly anything other than shouting and screaming. Not horror, for there is nothing that keeps you on the edge of your seat. Not comedy, for all those double-meaning dialogues and 'asset' jokes fail to tickle the funny bone. You ignore everything and move on to the plot. Again, nothing that we have never imagined before.
A group of college students get together for a moment sun, sand and sex at the Lake House in Louisiana Gulf. But even before they can actually get naughty and decide to hit the beach and the ocean, it's time for the big, bad Shark out there to get more naughty... and attack. This is followed by blood, missing limbs and god knows what. Scary? Not really. After all, what can a teeny-weeny frail-looking creature (even on 3D) do to us.
Not acceptable, specially when it's the same Hollywood that has given us jaw-dropping shark tales like Jaws, Deep Blue Sea, 12 days of Terror....

NOT a film which I would recommend... It does not have any story... Movie looses its grip within 30 mins... however, few action sequences especially one with SHARK ATTACK is good... apart from that just like an ordinary bollywood movie....

Shark Night 3D can be watched only for the beautiful bikini bodies, this movie has a weak script and no story line, and we have watched many such movies before. Avoid this film instead buy a DVD of Jaws and watch it again.

I havent seen the movie and I will not for sure. This movie would have not got any space in this news paper it was made in Hindia by absolutly not at all familiar names. I can justify this two and half star rating by (1 start for movie being in English (2 star for having all white people are working in it except shark (half star for writer secring his monthly pay.

If the movie is so bad, why are the critics still rating it Above Average with 2.5 stars? It's not the first time in movie reviews, the stars and the comments don't match. People don't read reviews before watching movies to stay away from any spoilers, hence the critics should rework on the way they give ratings so that the stars don't misguide the people

I was wondering the same thing about the rating. There's nothing in the review to justify the 2.5/5 rating. But I'd like to point out that, literally, 2.5/5 can't be termed as "Above Average". Another ridiculous thing here is that one can't comment without rating the movie.
