The basement bar at Hotel Icon draws in the upper class crowds due to its location in the bustling Sector 8C market. The design elements around the bar — infinite patterns on the steel table tops, the curvi-linear wall panels and the geometric design on the flooring are guaranteed to magnify their effect after a couple of quick ones! Do try their innovative cocktails that include flamed shooters like Chilli Hot Chocolate. Then, there are the beer-based cocktails like Paradiso and Tripped (if you can guess the ingredients you're a genius). And the oriental cocktails are Lotus Blossom and Bloody Ninja.

The iridescent beams that colour this ultra-luxe lounge seem to fit its theme perfectly. Located in the lane popular for its sumptuous and varied fare, the place is abuzz with activity as soon as it turns dark. However, many people can be spotted here in the afternoon as well, downing beer or gorging on Afghan and Oriental cuisine. Yes, beer is the flavour here, despite shelves being stocked with fine imported wines, champagnes and liqueur bottles. A pool table in the middle is there to cater to one's playful mood. There's game night and music night on Tuesdays and Thursdays. A taste of Chicken Breast with Red Wine Sauce, Murgh Afghani can be fun. But make sure you can handle the zest. For those who love lazing around while having fun, there's also the beanbag lounge, which has a laidback ambience of its own.
