Maa Durga is another popular Mithai shop cum North Indian restaurant in Panchkula. While here, try their Chaat and Malai Chamcham. You can see a lot of hustle and bustle in the evening when locals drop by to enjoy their freshly made Jalebis. Now they also have a branch in Chandigarh, Sector 34, which is a Mithai cum Farsan shop.

There is a ritual in our home that every time some guests comes my mom asks me to get some nice mithais from Maa Durga Sweets & Restaurants which is very near to our home. In such trip all I do besides getting the sweets for the guests is hog on some hot jalebis prepared right in front of the eyes. Also their chaats are favorites of my sister and cousins. In mithais Malai Chamcham is pure bliss and anyone who tastes it I guess falls in love with it. Maa Durga Sweet & Restaurant may not be the best eatery but it is sure a good establishment in the locality.
