Cloud 9 is the Multi-Cuisine restaurant of Shivalik View hotel and experiments in fusion food with Indian, North-West Frontier and Continental and now Chinese cuisine as well. Recently inaugurated, it is a rooftop eating place offering a spectacular 360 degree view of the city from the central axis of Chandigarh, Sector 1/. This recent addition to the city's food scape specializes in the Indian fare with its menu being customized keeping in mind the local palate. The Continental cuisine, sometimes has a sharp aroma of Indian spices seems to linger over supposedly delicate accompaniments like Celery Dips and Mayonnaise. What is popular here, however, is the North west Frontier cuisine like Martabaan Ka Meat and Challi Kebabs.

Here, I think the food is a wonderful blend of flavors and ingredients. I am pretty comfortable with their North West Frontier food that tastes delicious and very tempting. Martabaan ka Meat and all other meat dishes here are addictive. Not to mention the pocket friendly prices of dishes also a big contributor to this places success.

I went Cloud 9 fusion few days back with friends. We preferred to sit on a rooftop eating place. It was amazing. The ambiance was beautiful and whole city was visible. The spectacular view was the best part of the place. food was great too. they serve amazingly cooked celery dips and mayonnaise, martabaan ka meat and challi kebabs. The food was delicious and yummy. They served nicely and presentation was amazing too. Waiters were presentable and hospitable as well. a great place, nice food and striking environment.
