It may not be the best looking restaurant around town, but it is one of the most popular, that too, serving as it does, the food from the opposite end of the country. However you account for the popularity of Swagath, it has certainly made its mark in Chandigarh. Though it does serve a sprinkling of North Indian dishes, it is the coastal Karnataka fare that has taken Chandigarh by storm. You would not expect Bombay Duck Fry to do well in the heart of Butter Chicken Land, but it has. As have Crab Butter Pepper Garlic, Fish Gassi and Chicken Ghee Roast. Chettinadu Chicken and Malabar Paratha. Recommended.

Swagath Restaurant & Bar is a popular place and my friends often meet here for a quick meal and a great get together. The Chettinadu Chicken, Bombay Duck Fry are so amazing and different prepared food. The Karnataki food of Swagath Restaurant & Bar is surely something I love eating.

Try some Karnataki cuisine and flavors of south India at the not so fancy Swagath Restaurant & Bar in our very own city. Fish Gassi, Butter Chicken Land and Malabar Paratha and with full family this restaurant can be good option for outing. This restaurant is unusual in lot of sense and the food is definitely the most high lighted thing about it.

Swagath is certainly a good place to have some amazingly delicious food. I am sure no one would like it on the first go or I would say it is not a kind of place for which you will fall for at first sight. Ambiance is very simple and ordinary. However, once you are in, go for some Crab Butter Pepper Garlic, Fish Gassi and Chicken Ghee Roast. The food is great and you won’t regret. I can go Swagath anytime.
