By far and away the most original bakery cum café in the city. The only eatery hereabouts to serve Illy coffee, every cup of Cappuccino or Espresso is a treat. There are Macarons on offer, in dainty packets, suitable for gifts. Plus there are Biscotti, Chocolate Bonbons, Cookies as well as branded merchandise like Tao sparkling water. You can have your choice of merchandize packed to take home, or sit in CBC as it is popularly called and sip a coffee as you look out onto what is undoubtedly Chandigarh's busiest hotel lobby.

On winters, post office I just love to drive down to Chandigarh Baking Company and sip on Espresso and Cappuccino with cookies and any desserts. This place is just the nice place where one can sit in the evening and have a great time all alone also. This place is not the best for winters but also for summers also. Chandigarh Baking Company is somewhat an old style coffee shop with great warmth.

My quest for some good desserts destination in the city dragged me to Chandigarh Baking Company. This is a nice place for really good desserts and miraculously all the items are available at a reasonable cost. Their New York Cheese Cake and doughnuts are truly anti depressants. Besides these, the place also has nice collection of pastries, tarts and other sweet dishes. For me and my taste buds Chandigarh Baking Company is the best place for desserts and sweets in this city.
