A cheerful, pleasant cafe dominated by a huge wood fired oven. They live up to their name Nomad by travelling all over the Middle East, but still manage to keep away from cliches. Their best dish is Saaj - a large, flaky roomali roti-like bread filled with the stuffing of your choice: Cheese and olives work quite well though there is also Sumac pickled vegetables and Roast Chicken and Scrambled Egg. There is also Shish Taouk, a cold mezze platter and dishes from Turkey and Greece as well. They try not to walk the tried and tested path, so do try their Kebse - a cross between Khichdi and Biryani, Mid Eastern style of course.

In these winters there is only one place I go after office, Café Nomad. This place is warm due to the big wood fired oven. All I do is sit with two/three colleagues, order Roast Chicken and Biryani and just enjoy the ambience.

A live wood fire oven that keeps the place warm even during these winters and a hot cup of coffee with Scrambled Egg at Café Nomad is no less than a piece of heaven for me. For me this place is always a hot favorite because from Khichdi and Biryani to Roast Chicken and Mezze Platter then have some really good option of food to try and experiment with. The nomadic and random choice of dishes and cuisines make Café Nomad a favorite among many in the city.

The ambiance of Cafe Nomad is quite cheerful and pleasing. It is quite relaxing and pleasant to be there. they serve great food too. I like their flaky roomali roti, roasted chicken and scrambled eggs. Biryani is amazing too. service of the place is quite prompt and waiters are very pleasing. Overall an excellent place.
