yesterday our family went to Munveedu.. we booked already. we reached exactly by 8 o clock. they received us arranged table and makes us sit. they served soup at 8.50pm after asked so many times what happened what happened ??? then after finished soup we where made to sit till 9.35Pm to serve the food which we ordered. that too not hot. they told freshly prepared. Horrible experience. asked many times , even fought with the manager . Not only me others who came yesterday also had the same experience. worst serving, poor responses. after a long time i convinced my family to went outside to have a great dinner. but had a worst experience. everyone of us lost our patients and we fought and came back..who can wait for 1 and half hour to eat. they not even responding never recommend to any one. then u will face the consequences

On Sundays I come here for delicious Rabbit Sukka that they serve only on this day. In fact, overall for Chettinad food Munveedu is the right place in the city. From Mutton to chicken and even vegetarian dishes everything is authentically prepared to offer best taste of this cuisine.

For the first time I went to Munveedu on the insistence of a friend. I found this place good enough for a decent talk and some good food. Though I was not expecting anything at all, this place turned out to be surprisingly good with their all inclusive menu. I love the Fish fry as the fish felt fresh and it was prepared nicely. The Mutton Dum Biryani was tasted good to me because it did not use much spice. Overall Munveedu can be visited once in a while to have some good and cheap food.
