This 55-year-old restaurant is known for its Spartan style. The first branch was started in 1954 in Royapettah. Ponnusamy whose USP is quick leave service doesn't disappoint. Their lighting quick service coupled with the delicious food keeps a smile on your face. This place is a non vegetarians delight and the foodie in you will have a gala time as there is a variety of unique items on the menu such as Rabbit Roast, Brain Fry, Liver Fry, Sura Puttu (lightly spiced flaked shark), and Kadai Roast. Their regular chettinad items such as Chicken Pepper Fry (boneless), Crab Masala and Mutton Kola(ground mutton balls) also do not disappoint especially when coupled with the excellent biryani (both mutton and chicken). They have recently opened new outlets at Express Avenue and Saidapet. All in all, a sumptuous feast of Chettinadu cuisine is guaranteed.

The place has a real interesting and detailed menu that offers a great choice. I tried the biryani there and liked it a lot. Do join in if you want to try some real interesting disshes!

Oh awesome place for non vegetarians. I found very amazing dishes like Rabbit Roast, Sura Puttu. Very unique names i have ever heard. I loved the biryani most which is so good that i can't even explain. Go for some nice and different dishes. Service is not bad but yes not so good too.
