Tangerine offers some amazing European food that will have you lusting for more. Do try the Pasta and Yoghurt Salad, the Bruschetta Platter and the Stuffed Potato Skins. The sizzler portions are sizeable, but so good that you will not share for sure! Try the Chicken Peri Peri with Rice, the Stuffed Cottage Cheese Steak or the Fricasse of Mushroom and Corn: you will not be disappointed. For beef lovers, the sliced Beef Lyon with Peaches is pure heaven. The sinful Death by Chocolate is a must have. A great place which does not serve alcohol to give you a high. The food takes care of that. And the bonus is that if you happen to be here on the third friday of a month then you can enjoy some live music too.

Tangerine- For steak lovers it doesn't get better than this..!!(price is a little on the higher side, but i'm not complaining). There are chain's that have opened up in the city like yoko, kobe etc. But personally, tangerine is definitely a step ahead.
The ambiance, i don't care much for,but its about the food. isn't it??
D day-Diwali- The best time to go out and have a meal and escape all that noise.
A good night to have family dinner as well.
We enter tangerine slightly early and are quite shocked to be ushered into an empty restaurant. But not for long. people came throbbing in and the restaurant was jam packed in an hour.
The food:
Tangerine is known for their steaks, although they do serve pastas, bakes etc.
Now all of us, with exception to my brother order steaks, while he's always been a bake/lasagna fan.
My cousin's order a fish with white sauce and a King Arthur steak. The fish was well cooked and served with a nice white cheesy sauce. personally.not a fan of mild dishes so wouldn't order that(but it was quite delicious and im sure people who detest spicy food will love it)
The King Arthur was an oriental inspired dish with soya sauce and oyster sauce i'm assuming. This was ordered by another one of my cousin's who's been eating this for 10 years since her college days-big fan clearly!!
My mum is not a big fan of chicken so opts for lamb steak. Damn.they were soft and juicy..!! again loads of flavor..!!
My steak was the meatiest of them all. the mixed grill!! it had beef, chicken and sausages apart from jacket potato with cream and grilled veggies on the side.
Well cooked but was it worth Rs 400(debatable).
The disappointment:
Lasagna according to me was a let down,it had loads of cheese. but mozarella is not a wise choice for a bake as its usually like cream cheesy.
A little bit is a must, but they over did it..!!
Lemon ice tea was also quite nice, so was the strawberry crusher thingy :)
VERDICT FINALLY!!
Steaks-delicious,pasta- big NO!!
Ambiance- ordinary
Price- debatable. can reduce it a bit!!
overall- good experience- go for it:)
Favorite Dishes / Drinks: Mixed grill, sliced beef lyon with peaches!

Tangerine is supposed to be the best restaurant for sizzlers in Chennai. The drinks are interesting and their steaks are delicious and make for a wonderfully filling meal. I strongly suggest you try the Death By Chocolate. Tangerine is not a place to go t

When you feel like sinking into a juicy steak, its Tangerine you head to for sumptuous and the best steaks in town. Service is good and efficient. Proportions are filling. The pricing is proportionate. Good family restaurant.
