They are definitely above sea level, up here at Raintree's nicely positioned restaurant. With a stunning view of the city, it is a sparkling twinkling jewel box. The service and the fun of being outdoors in the city combines together to make for a great culinary experience. It maybe a tad warm at certain times of the year, but just now Chennai is near perfect! Grills are the USP of this restaurant and they offer a huge variety to choose from. There is a live grill station which assures are on the way to a great meal. Chettinad selections, seafood of course and their kebabs are great to taste. Everything is prepared fresh and is well made. The Seafood Risotto, and the bouillabaisse, which is a seafood medley, with a hint of tomato, cognac and saffron is interestingly flavored. There is a great choice of continental dishes for you to pick out from; soups, starters and main courses.

Enjoy food with a view of the beauty of our city at the non other than Above Sea Level Restaurant. The food is also as good as the view and lovely ambience of this place and I love coming here again and again. Their Seafood and Chettinadu food section is very much delight for food lovers and for family this place can be a good dining spot.

stunningly beautiful ambiance...eyes grabbing interiors and with comfortable seating arrangement this place won my heart...the decor of the restaurant is really nice and amazingly beautiful...certainly the service is best among all the near-by places...they are fast and spontaneous....food is for sure awesome...they serve delicious and delectable fares...loved the place
