First things first. If you're a vegan, you can very well avoid Midnight Express. On the other hand, this holds great appeal for non-vegetarians. The USP of this small restaurant is that it runs almost through the night (closes down by 1.30 am). The ambience is just passable, with the aromas from the kitchen kind of assailing your senses if you're averse to so much of spice sensation. The authentic Chettinad food though is quite good, especially their Paaya and bone soup. In being an avenue for party goers and the nightlife crowd, it scores where other restaurants falter.
