In Latin, EST means simply, ‘It Is’. To put it another way, ‘look no further’. The coffee shop at the Hilton, offering a range of hot and cold beverages and gourmet food, is perfect for an informal business gathering or a semi-formal get-together. The eatery has a view of the hotel lobby at one end, and a glass-enclosed live bakery at the other. A Sputnik-shaped display case and an cream coloured chandelier are among the unusual items of furniture. Salads and soups, burgers and pastas, sandwiches and steaks, combo meals and desserts, there’s something for every palate at EST. Croissants and Danish Pasties rub shoulders with puffs in the display case, and you can wash down the deliciously moist Walnut Brownie with Filter Coffee. Or try their German Chocolate Cake with coconut and mango jelly followed by Masala Tea served in a unique double walled glass pot with filter. The Strawberry Chilli Sorbet and the sugar free Amaretto Panacotta with fruit curls are worth trying. But perhaps the global-local mix is its tastiest best in Chettinad Chocolate - bite into the rich creamy cocoa exterior, and a burst of southern spices is released onto your unsuspecting taste buds. Amazing! There’s a retail counter at the coffee house, selling cheese, pastries, pastas, juices, meat products and the like. EST also offers Combo takeaways for corporate but orders have to be placed four hours in advance.

Hilton hotels are class apart and so are their facilities and in house establishments. Est – Hilton is one such establishment that gives pristine dining experience especially during the evening. I come for steaks and Salads of this place. One must have item of this coffee shop is the Chettinad Chocolate. Come to Est – Hilton with your darling and have endless moments to cherish.

Recently, a business associate of mine invited me to Est-Hilton for an informal meeting. This was the first time I visited Est-Hilton and I must add here that the business associate has really good taste and choice. This coffee shop is lavish and extraordinary in its decoration. The white and blue interior and designer couch for sitting is just perfect for comfort. The menu mainly offers hot and cold beverages along with gourmet food to go with the drink. The Masala chai is out of this world and Strawberry Chilli Sorbet is also amazing. Est-Hilton is a nice for sitting and talking.

Last week I and a friend of mine went Est-Hilton. We had burgers and pastas along with some shakes. I find food great and ambiance excellent. The Strawberry Chilli Sorbet and the sugar free Amaretto Panacotta with fruit curls served here are amazing. The prompt service makes it perfect. Est-Hilton is a wonderful place to spend some time with friends.
