Finding a reasonably-priced, watering-hole in Chennai can be taxing. Plenty of top-end clubs and hundreds of very boring average ones but not much in the middle that really stands out. Trantor is a pleasant breath of fresh air. Set in Breeze Hotel, it has a decent design and decor. Prices are very reasonable and the menu is elaborate, with a wide variety of cocktails and mocktails. Drop in at Trantor for a drink after work, or you might prefer to match your glass of wine with a tasty snack. (Happy Hours: 11am to 4pm.)
