Located in a busy, commercial-cum-residential area, Spice is conveniently placed to attract regular clientele. The ambience is functional and unfussy. Wooden furniture to seat 44, white walls, normal lighting, waiters dressed in black trousers and red T-Shirts, either typical copper-bottomed dishes or white ceramic crockery as per the cuisine ordered and a fairly wide-ranging menu card are the hallmarks of this eatery. The menu follows the standard soups, starters, main courses, beverages and desserts pattern, but there's an accent on paneer. Paneer Methi Masala, Paneer Pasanda, Paneer Kadai, Paneer Noorani, Paneer Jaipuri⦠the list goes on. The Chef's Special Paneer and the Stuffed Kulchas are particularly good. The food is tasty and wholesome, the flavours are subtle, and all the masalas are home-ground.
