Well, we won't say you shouldn't look beyond Indus because herein is all you ever wanted to savour in Frontier and Punjabi cuisine. But, chances, are, you anyway won't care to look much beyond. Beyond Indus is tastefully done with ornate chandeliers and aesthetically patterned wall panels. You're bound to admire the tableware and crockery and the way two distinct pieces coalesce together to make for a large eating experience. The food is, you guessed it, hearty, robust, yet brimming with the cardiac-friendly extra virgin olive oil. Whatever else you order, make sure you have the Sheekampuri Kebabs. It's velvety soft and melts into your mouth at the first touch. The Murgh Champ is a bit of let down and the Mahi Suffiani Tikka is again no match to the Sheekampuri. The haleem is, as all haleems are, rich! It's the meek pumpkin that makes a very distinct culinary statement in the Qaesare Kofta Dish, which is actually white pumpkin flavoured with cardamom and cooked over slow fire. It tastes divine for a vegetable otherwise low in the pecking order. Order judiciously, lest you have no space for the Baked Yoghurt with Fig Compote, which is absolutely yum. If you're in a mix match create your own food frame of mind, suggest you give the Indiyaki menu a try. Even if it does not get your taste buds all wowed, remember there's a delectable kebab platter… And the single malt could make all the difference.

North West Frontier and Punjabi food is something to be enjoyed without any self restriction and Beyond Indus helps in doing that completely. From Haleem to Kebabs platter and Lahori Chicken everything is superb and tempting. From time to time I miss coming to this place and on days of much craving I just call my best friend and we come here.
