For all those who want to unwind over a quiet dinner after a hectic week, 16th Century is the ideal place. The calm and serene atmosphere inside the hotel instantly puts you at ease. The popular dishes here are Indian Vegetarian Sizzlers, Misto de Legume Pizziola, Mushroom Penelope, Andromeda Vegetarian Chillies, Poulet Steak Sizzler, Prevetites Sizzler, Scampi Annekkai, Chef de Cuisine Special, Fruit Sizzlers, Chocolate Brownies, and Fried Ice Cream and they are all on the expensive side. They also have a weekend buffet: soup, salads, fruits, starters, Palak Paneer, Aloo Gobhi ki Subzi, Fried Rice, Egg Curry, Fish Masala, Dragon Mushroom, Chicken Tikka, Egg Fry and naan, papad, and biryani. For mutton aficionados, it may be a downer as there are not many mutton varieties in the menu. The food scores good on taste. Desserts need some improvement. There are laddoos, cakes and ice creams, but a little experimentation with pastries or brownies would have been welcome.
