Ashvita Bistro is situated in the heart of Raja Annamalaipuram, in the up market hub of Chennai. It is an old house that has been touched up to give a modern day look with a partly open seating area. You can sit in the open and watch the rain as you sip your Brunch Coffee and if you want something to go with it try their Roasted Veg Panini. For lunch, the Broccoli Mushroom Garlic Soup is something refreshing to start with followed by the Mushroom Crepes as the main course and the Kahlua Cake to wrap up your sumptuous meal. The Chicken Ala Kiev, Thai Red Curry, Gnocchi stuffed with spinach and cheese are some of the popular dishes one could try. The indoor seating area can accommodate around 30 guests. This place serves as an all-day diner and hangout place for the cozy twosomes. Although it is located in the buzzling heart of Chennai, this place is still calm and a good rendezvous for a chit chat. While you wait for your order to come flip through the books around. They also have a wide range of products like Brinjal Pickles, Lime and Date Pickle, Guava Jelly, Grape Jelly produced in-house.rnrn

people trust me dont even get near to this place.the food is awful and dam expensive.service what?? you can see half a dozen waiters yapping together happily and not pay any attention to you.

Have been here for dinner and evening chaat.
5 stars for the chaat. Wonderful taste and ingredients were fresh.
Dinner was decent. The first time it was interesting. But the variety is limited. Hence you go more than once it does get redundant. It practically has only four versions of dinner (Asian, Indian, Kabab & Something else). The dishes change but tastes dont!
Ambience is good. Best suited for romantic evenings. But beware, if you are the sweaty kind, you will rue the experience. It is open air and in Chennai!!! (they do have very limited AC seats)
