Now known as Dindigul Thalappakatti, this place is like an oasis in the desert for those who want good food at pocket friendly prices. Located near one of the city’s most famous landmarks, it captures the essence of South Tamil Nadu in every sense: décor, flavour and service. Their biryani has been an instant crowd puller from the time it has opened. The restaurant’s other specials are Thalai Curry and Kodal Curry. They also have a wide variety of chicken preparations, including the Vatlakunda Chicken and Thalappakatti Fried Chicken, which rate among the best. The Dindugal Thalappakatti Biryani is truely delicious. The Brain Fry, Mutton Chukaa and the Aatukaal Soup are worth trying. The South Indian preparations worth trying are Keema Dosa and Wheat Dosa which are mouth-watering. Beverages served are limited. Head to the desserts section only if you have space for it as ice creams are all they have.

Service is excellent. Food is also good. They have wide variety of chicken dishes. And as i was told by one of my friend, they use spices crunched in traditional style not grinded one. Go for chicken dishes, as chicken dishes are more testier then mutton dishes. And they only Ice-cream or related dishes.
