Known for their lip-smacking mithais, Archana Sweets offers South Indian, Bengali and North Indian sweets and chaat. An added attraction is that they also serve piping hot idlis, dosas and South Indian tiffin items along with tasty sambhar and chutneys throughout the day. Their executive lunch is also a hit with the office-going crowd. In the chaat section, their samosas are worth a try and Dahi Puri is a must. Though predominantly a South Indian fare, they also score with their Chana Bhatura and phulkas. However, the Chana Masala is a South-Indianized version. In the milk mithais, Milk Kesar Roll, Badam Pista Roll are a major attraction. In the Bengali fare, there is quite a variety that includes Paneer Jamun, Malai Raspberry and Champakali. In the ghee mithais, Athirasam, Pheni, and Kesar Laddoo scores and their Butter Murukku, Thattai and Seedai are famous. The special ghee sweets are indeed a treat provided you don't mind the overkill. Else you can choose from different varieties of halwa.
