The ECR Dhaba is a must do, especially if you’re looking to wind down or take a longish stop after a tiring drive. Located at the scenic Muthakadu, there are animals, birds and aquarium fish that are a delight to the young and old alike. Pigeons fluttering about, Persian cats lounging, rabbits frolicking and Emus standing sentinel can keep you well occupied for over half-an-hour and and have you work up an appetite. The fare here is very dhabaish and the naans are not greasy, unless you like them like that; order the Butter Naan, which is quite a treat really. They make a mean Mutton Rogan Josh, a tad oily.but hey, this is a dhaba, so don’t expect calorie consciousness. The Chicken Tikka is succulent as are the other tandoor items on offer. The dals are simply yum and even a hard-core non-veg should not give it a miss. The best, however, should be kept for the last and the Matka Kulfi (if not too frozen) is surely something to remember this place by.
