Chit Chat has been there for over three decades and have created a name for themselves. These two restaurants share a common menu, yet are distinct in their look and feel. Chit Chat is cheery and youthful, with a cafe-like feel to it, whereas Mint is more prim and proper and very clearly meant for the slightly older age group that likes meals to be leisurely savoured over conversations and not merely chit chat. The food is multi-cuisine, though it's the range of sizzlers that seems to be the best for your money's worth. Try the Mint Special Sizzler or the Grilled Fish White Sauce. Their combo meals, like the Chinese Combo is neatly planned and are hugely fulfiling in terms of portions and keep the taste buds happy too. Though their eponymous ice creams are a big draw and retailed through several outlets, it's the Sizzling Brownie that ends up as the winner in the desserts section. Apart from the service, which is efficient, this place extends to you a distinct feeling of warmth and welcomeness. The two big aces up Chit Chat's sleeve are its timing: it remains open up to 1.30am, and the meal service that delivers your order right up to and inside your cars. No wonder, then, it's such a hit with the young crowd.

Although there are many Chinese food outlets in and round the city, this one definitely stands out as their dishes carry a strong Oriental flavour. Moreover, their Chinese food is not laced with Indian-ness which generally is the culture around the country.
