Sarvana Bhavan is synonoumous to Vegetarian South Indian food not only in the country but across the globe now. When it comes to great taste and popularity, Saravana Bhavan has it pat down to a formula and you'll be lucky if you get a place to sit during lunch hour. The food is exceptionally good and is great VFM. And the hotel doesn't shy away from mentioning in their menu that all dishes are cooked in ghee. Their signature dish is their superbly turned out Masala Dosas and of course their almost red Kesari Bhath. You can also go for their Kaima Idli, Mixed Parota. There are Saravana Bhavan's all over the world, but if you're in Chennai and you haven't eaten here, you surely have missed a taste of what good food in these parts can be. There are numerous branches of Saravana Bhavan, across the length and breadth of the city, and finding one nearby won't be a task at all.www.saravanabhavan.com

In vegetarian South Indian food, Sarvana Bhavan is a name to vouch for. My family is a fan of this place and so many times family dines out are synonymous with this restaurant. The charm of this place is lies in the fact that they serve excellent and holistic food at a reasonable rate in a beautifully done ambience. I love their Dosa variety and Mixed Parota. In fact, Kesari Bhath is also a delicious and filling option. Sarvana Bhavan can never go wrong with their food and it has lots of takers in the city.
