With recipes from places like Rawalpindi, Punjab, Sind and other places around these, Beyond Indus has all you ever wanted to eat from these regions. A huge hit with the corporate crowd, the set lunches include a soup, starter, main course and dessert. If, however, you are not in a hurry and want to linger because the ambiance demands it, you could opt for food from the menu. Rather dark in terms of d├ęcor, brown dominates. Oval tables set the elliptical theme, and you would find yourself eating out of oval plates too. Recommendations include the faultless Mathiniya Murgh, so named after the masala that makes it that comes from a place in Rajasthan. And of course, if you are a sea food fan and not someone who just sees food and feels happy, go for the Lasooni Jhinga. It is succulent, tasty and good for the skin. Vegetarians can feast on Broccoli Simla Mrich and Palak Dahi Kebabs and feel virtuous as they are loading up on antoxids. The Dal Indus is like butter in the mouth and goes well with the rather unusual Olive and Green Chilli Naan. Some of us like to watch our food being cooked, and for us, Beyond Indus offers us a seat with a view. They possess the Indyaki - a take on the Teppanyaki - and have five live tavas being worked on by their chefs. Dessert, of course! The Kulfi and Badam Halwa are awesome. You will be glad to know that the kulfi is from the five star of kulfis - Parsi Dairy Farm. Gooey and sweetly rich with the yum factor firmly in place.

North West Frontier and Punjabi food is something to be enjoyed without any self restriction and Beyond Indus helps in doing that completely. From Haleem to Kebabs platter and Lahori Chicken everything is superb and tempting. From time to time I miss coming to this place and on days of much craving I just call my best friend and we come here.
