One of this city’s best kept gastronomic secrets TOP or The Oriental Pavilion. In a culinary landscape crowded with Chinese eateries, TOP plays it down. A restaurant of the Fortune Hotel, the Chinese and Thai menu includes the usual suspects of various coloured curries, the green, red, yellow, and the whole paraphernalia of noodles, fried rice, prawns, lambs and lobsters. Non-vegetarians should order the Crispy Fried Lamb in Konjee Sauce, which sure is a palate pleaser. The Crispy Chicken Fillet in Hot Bean Sauce is flavourful with the chicken rendered just right. The Wok-fried Jumbo Prawns and the dumplings work well at the gut level. As for the green brigade, they have plenty to choose from and if you like it hot and spicy, go for the Stir-fried Okra with Red Chilli. Desserts are average.

The ambiance of Oriental Pavilion is amazing. It is very beautiful and striking. Interiors are tastefully done and it is all beautiful. Comfortable seating arrangement, eye-grabbing interiors and magnificent view, it looks wonderful. Coming to the food, I would say, the place serves delicious delicacies. They have yummy fried rice, prawns, lambs and lobsters along with Crispy Fried Lamb in Konjee Sauce. Also, Crispy Chicken Fillet in Hot Bean Sauce and Wok-fried Jumbo Prawns are luscious and tempting. Love the food. Last, the service of the restaurant. Waiters are prompt and work efficiently. They are professional and well-mannered. Amazing place I would say.
