Long driveway, landscape and a calm and soothing ambience makes Tulip an ideal place for those looking for some good food and ambience. This coffee shop in Green Park is like an oasis away in crowded Vadapalani. During daytime, they offers an à la carte menu while there are buffets in the evenings, with almost ten salads to start with and half-a dozen dessert options. Try their Kaikari Sudhi and Yerra Chettinadu. Additionally, you can dine in the company of music - a live performance by a musician on the piano and vocals in the evenings. Though the restaurant claims to change their menu every evening - ranging from Mughlai to Chettinadu - it's a little disappointing that the menu items do not always correspond to the chosen cuisine. Curd-Vada, Curd-Rice, Rasam and Sambhar are omnipresent along with the speciality cuisine. The interiors are good with a dome-shaped structure at the centre and the illumination provides a great ambience. Service is to the mark.
