It's a tale of two young people. Param (Rajwinder Sumal) is a young boy who goes on a trip with his friends. During this trip, he meets the girl ( Rishita Monga) of his dreams. He not only wins her heart but makes a place in her family's heart as well.
Just when everything was going well and everybody was happy something from their past catches up with them. To their dismay they were torn apart, drifting away from each-other. It changed their destiny forever.
Yaaran Naal Baharan 2 has been released on a time when so many Punjabi movies hitting the big screens. That should also open the door for every movie to enter the audience hearts where some big hit movies have built their interest and confidence in Punjabi Cinema.
The title Yaaran Naal Baharan 2 forced people to think about watching this movie because of the Jimmy Shergill and Juhi Babbar starrer superhit Yaaran Naal Baharan early in 2005. Yaaran Naal Baharan 2 has nothing matching to the first Yaaran Naal Baharan by any means. It lacks story line up, cinematography, scripting, music and even direction is not up to the mark which is required for a feature film.
Earlier in Yaaran Naal Baharan (2005) most of the things like Direction, Starcast, Music, Cinematography, and Story were incredible. But all these things were not felt in YNB 2, not atleast for a single minute of time. Only thing they tried to match with the earlier YNB is the way of boy's convincing way to the girl's parents for his marriage.
In story, YNB 2 tried to match it with the earlier movie but they didn't succeed to do so. Because the story misses the trick that could make people have the taste of first YNB. It's been just too quick at times and way too slow at some points without any good sequence as well. There has been short time before and after interval where movie looks like getting a grip but again it looses too early which has been the feature of it through out. Some of the action scenes between Rajwinder Sumal and Vikramjeet Virk are admirable to some extent.
Starcast looked not so confident with most of the lead characters making their debuts on big screens. Neither one of the characters was properly established in the story nor could anyone make their mark. Even the return of mighty Yograj Singh could not help the movie to take a step forward even though his character looked competent. He tried to add some value to the movie but may be it was too shorter role to bring some upliftment in the story.
Cinematography is been very poor for a feature film and in the present time where Punjabi movies are no mug in front of Bollwood or Hollywood movies when quality is the concern. Its quality has been apart from some recent hit Punjabi movies. Being low on acting, story and cinematography side, Direction also has been very weak. Music and background score doesn't sound attractive apart from one song by Sardool Sikander 'Yaara'. Yaara song is the only positive point in the music of YNB 2 .
All n All Yaaran Naal Baharan 2 is an unmatched, amateurish and disappointed attempted sequel to the earlier Yaaran Naal Baharan.

It is nothing compared to earlier Yaaran Naal Baharan. Film makers have cheated the audiences by naming it Yaaran Naal Baharan 2. A complete waste of money!

very poor story ,,,....,,,,,that reason isss cinema punjab iss going to strong but this kinds of old movie sure flop at box office
