It was a stroke of genius to give Dum Pukht a makeover over a year ago. Its new look goes well with the new menu: both appear on the surface to have the patina of age, yet both conceal a surprisingly nouvelle touch. It shows in the decor that uses elements of mirror work on the arches and walls. The modern face of the food lies in the generous offerings for vegetarians: Guchchi Sabz-e-Zar is unmissable. Though there are biryanis and what is undoubtedly the finest Kakori in the National Capital Region, newer dishes have been created, especially Kham Khatai and Maash Qaliyai. Murgh Chandi Tikka has silver leaf on the dough, which incredibly doubles up as a tasty roti!

The ambience is just too good.Haryali kababs are a melt in mouth and leave you asking for more. Both Dals have a unique taste.Since the kali dal is cooked over such a long period of time, the butter gets finely dissolved in it
