Pandit Jawahar Lal Nehru dined at this dhaba. That itself is a big claim to fame. But it is not just that. The eatery is popular among those which dot the Gali Parathe Wali in Chandni Chowk as it dishes out the Mix Paratha, Paneer Paratha and the ubiquitous Aloo Paratha. You could try the more unusual Pista ka Paratha, Kaju ka Paratha, Papad ka Paratha, Nimbu ka Paratha, Rabadi Paratha and Khurchan ka Paratha. That the shop has another location close by shows that there is still life left in Gali Parathe Wali.

went in with high expectations but disappointed as the paranthas served were very small size and priced according to the hype media has given to paranthewali gali, rather than quality, more so it would be wrong to call them paranthas they were stuffed deep fried pooris rather,i wonder whether paranthas used to be tawa fried earlier or are they deep fried right from the inception....
